Career Beginnings
Unlike most, in 1994, Jason intentionally sought and embarked on a career in recruitment. Like a ‘duck to water,’ he was a natural and quickly excelled. His success took him to the UK in 1996, where he joined a global recruiter, outperformed his peers, and rapidly rose to Director after pioneering the company's first RPO.
Leadership in New Zealand & Australia
Returning to New Zealand in 2002, Jason transformed the NZ operations of the global recruiter, making it the market leader. He managed over 100 consultants who generated $90M in revenue annually. This success led to his promotion to the Australasian Board of Directors, where he strategically and operationally contributed to the growth and performance of a $2 billion+ business.
Recent Ventures
In 2018, Jason founded his consulting firm, where he coaches, advises, and trains agency leaders and consultants with his innovative RecruitmentSuccessCoach™ system. He has furthered his impact as one of NZ’s leading certified HBDI WholeBrain Practitioners.
Partnering with the private equity firm Recruitment Entrepreneur in 2023, Jason helps launch and scale new recruitment businesses. As an affiliate of Recruitment Transactions, his goal is to bring international buyers into the NZ marketplace. When recruitment businesses and professionals grow their fees, everyone benefits. Jason’s ultimate goal for the recruitment industry is to provide greater opportunities for success.
Personal
As a father of three humans and three dogs, Jason is a closet darts amateur, pinot noir enthusiast, karaoke aficionado, and part-time home gym-er. He is also known for playing many shocking rounds of golf!
